Bidrage med feedbackI am not sure what is happening, but there have been a lot of changes at this restaurant recently. First, they started changing the soup of the day, adding cream of broccoli on the second day and potato on the third day, which I find unnecessary. Recently, I noticed they switched the croutons to tiny bits with no flavor, and they stopped serving beer cheese with the pretzels, which was my favorite part. I used to always order the Pretzel appetizer with extra containers of beer cheese to take home, as well as the salad bar. Both of my go-to orders have been affected by the changes at this location or the restaurant as a whole. They really need to bring back the beer cheese or share the recipe with customers!
I was impressed by their salad bar, which was filling and delicious. Although I only tried a classic burger, I found the quality of the meat to be quite good. My younger sisters enjoyed their kids' meals, which came with a free cookie that they enjoyed. Additionally, I noticed they sell individual pies at a reasonable price. Overall, a great experience at this restaurant.
Had the Lent Fish Special for Take out. Fish sand which was average, coleslaw tasteless. Cheese sticks were good but the homemade potato chips were fair with half of them being soggy and uncooked. Food was like warm when we picked it up. They told us 25 minutes for it to be ready... I was there in 20 only to get Luke warm food.
Absolutely the worst restaurant food I 've been served in my life. And my use of the adverb absolutely was well-thought-out. (Server was a nice lady. Too many tables. Not her fault. But the food. Oy! Ordered an egg scramble. Scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon and a bagel. The so-called meal that appeared 15 minutes late was cold. Worse the cheese was two freezing slices of pasteurized American thrown on the top of the scramble at the last minute; the scrambled eggs were fried to a crisp; the hash browns were grease absorbers; and the cold bagel transcended chewiness. I know the guy who used to run Eat N Park. Good fellow. Whoever 's running it now should consider bringing him out of retirement.
Breakfast buffet is the best part about this place. I have no idea why the kitchen is so slow, but if you order something from the menu, expect it to take ~20 minutes to get it. Chorizo omelette was excellent. Tuna melt was disappointing.
