I had a fantastic experience. The Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani were exceptional. The flavors were perfect, the portions generous, and the staff attentive. If you're a biryani lover, this place is a must-visit! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50
We’ve been driving past this place to our favorite sushi spot (Kyoto, right across the street) for the last year and always saying ‘one day we need to try this’. Today as we were headed to Kyoto we both looked at the sign for Peshawar and decided today was the day we’d try it. The inside is a modest Indian/Pakistani restaurant that must be doing something right as it was filled with Indian/Pakistani patrons. After getting immediately seated we settled on our order. For appetizers we tried the Halwa Puri and samosas. Both were exceptional. The Halwa Puri was served with two different sauces: one savory and the other sweet. The samosas were service with tamarin. They were incredible 5/5 For main course we split the Peshawar Platter with a side of rice and garlic naan. It’s served with a variety of different meats including Buri chicken, kebabs and tikki chicken. It came out sizzling on a cast iron. The main dish I’d rate at a 4/5. I didn’t really know what was what on the plate the servings were ample but I’m always hesitant when meats are served on a sizzling cast iron as it continues to cook (and dry out). By the time we got to the end of the meats they weren’t moist anymore and pretty well done. For beverages we ordered water but were brought bottle water. I’m fine with that but it always feels like a bit of a money grab when places do that. In all it was good and I’ll definitely come back. The real stars for us was the naan bread and the Halwa Puri. I wouldn’t get the platter again but am interested to try their curries. Bathrooms were mostly clean but not pristine 4/5 Service was pretty good but not exceptional 4/5 I’d rate this place 3.9 4 on a scale of 5
