Highland Howie's Pub Grill - Green Bay

A friend and I decided to check this place out based on some recommendations we saw on Facebook. We were in search of a new Friday fish fry place because the one that we generally have gone to is closed now. I ordered the seafood platter with 4 oz of baked cod, three butterfly shrimp and a piece of butterfly perch. The cod was extremely dry and tasteless, and the perch was dry inside as well. The overall ambiance was a small little bar with a nice outdoor seating area, and friendly service. The waitress was amazing and very attentive to our needs. My friend ordered the perch dinner and was overall satisfied with the quality and taste.

Had the worst Perch plate EVER. Should have complained but I'll vote with my wallet. Fish tasted very old fishy, and to make matters worse it tasted like it had been marinated in lemon juice to hide the fishy taste, which only made the flavor worse. My family told me it used to be good a couple years ago, so maybe management changed. None of us could even eat our meal.

First time to HHPH, Friday afternoon, sat down right away, drinks were to watery, need round cubes and less ice. Ordered the perch, came in a timely manner, fries excellent, fish, sorry to say, 2nd to Redwood BUT meaty,tasty, light breading not greasy. Staff friendly. Will be back if in that area again.

The food and service are amazing! Highly recommend!!!
