Tropix Hawaiian Bbq - Grand Junction

Great place to eat. A little expensive but that's the way things are going.

I lived in Hawaii for most of my life, and they forgot one thing, Mochiko chicken.

This is an absolute hole in the wall restaurant, however it has fantastic food! Don't pass this place up! The chicken has fantastic flavor and the egg drop soup is amazing. Unfortunately the prices are insane. I spent almost $50 for 3 meals.

Absolutely fantastic food and polite, friendly service. Ambiance was interesting. The best Asian authentic in the town.

I’m so confused… so the name is Tropix leading me to believe I’m about to get something tropical, Hawaiian leading me to believe I’m about to get some Hawaiian. BBQ leading me to believe I’m about to get some barbecue! I walked in and first thing I noticed is a couple of Buddha shrines or whatever then looked at the menu and it’s now becoming clear this is a Chinese place. But they had macaroni salad so I tried it…. Nope clearly not Hawaiian anything here. So we got food anyways since we were there, it was typical cheap Chinese food and I just picked my pineapple out and threw the rest away.
