Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped for lunch at Hotel du Centre and were immediately impressed by the surroundings. Clean, subdued, elegant. We've always had a theory that if you see linen table cloths, it's going to cost. Not true. Two of us ate a really good lunch, including drinks, for €39. I had a plentiful salad with magre de canard (duck breast) and gésiers (preserved duck stomach). At first description, duck stomach doesn’t sound all that great, but for those who like foie gras, the preserved livers of geese, what’s the big deal? If anyone can make offal taste amazing it is the French. And at Hotel du Centre, my lunch tasted perfect.Don't hesitate to use their restaurant. It's right in the centre of town in one corner of the market place.Slow down and savour the food. It's well worth relaxing for!
