India Garden Robina - gold-coast

I recently celebrated my daughter's first birthday at this restaurant with a group of friends. The ambiance was lovely and the owners were very polite. We ordered a variety of dishes and enjoyed them all, especially the lamb saag and butter chicken. I will definitely be returning for more in the future!

I haven't had Indian food in a long time because it's always been disappointing. However, this place is fantastic. It's a pity that it's not appreciated by everyone.

If you have been disappointed by the lack of authenticity and excessive sweetness of Indian food on the Gold Coast so far, then look no further than India Garden. The reviews do not lie. A special mention must be made for the excellent service. On our last visit, when we placed a direct phone order, they accidentally gave us saffron rice instead of our favorite Jeera rice. We were not upset, but when we mentioned it to the young lady with blonde hair on our in-house visit last Friday, she not only upgraded us to a large rice but also gave us free papadoms, along with a handwritten apology note (see photo). This is the kind of service that you want to experience. The owners are also always lovely. If you are a fan of spicy food, I highly recommend ordering the following for a truly satisfying meal (even if it may be too much for two people, resulting in delightful leftovers): 1/ Naan stuffed with green chillis 2/ Chana Saag (chickpeas with spinach - order mild) 3/ Boneless Goat Vindaloo (order Indian Spicy) 4/ Chicken Chettinad (order Indian Spicy) 5/ Large Jeera rice (rice with ghee and cumin seeds) Serve these dishes with a classic Indian salad of chopped tomato, onion, and coriander. For an extra touch, add some tempered curry leaves (you can buy a plant from Bunnings) to the goat vindaloo. You're sure to enjoy your meal at India Garden.

Fantastic food and friendly chef. When we are down from the Sunshine Coast we always come here. We love the Chettinad Lamb curry. Highly recommended
