The one restaurant in Göttingen that makes you feel elegant and excited about meeting up with friends. The decor is stunning and chic, and the menu as well. Enjoy great (well priced) steaks, variety of seafood and a variety of creative Italian cuisine. I always...look forward to the next visit!

We were here for a team dinner with 25 people. We didn 't eat a la card. Restaurant offered us family style . Delicious various starters, pasta, met, fish and dessert. Great food, friendly staff. I can recommend the restaurant and will be back!

When you’re craving the true tastes of Italy in a stylish setting, not far from the comfort of your own postcode!!! Really spacious for big groups, and still comfortable, with tiny corners for couples or families. The truly Italian spirit is definitely present... Buonasera Signori! ......and the evening is about to start!!! Diverse selection of dishes, where even vegetarians can find several options! Simple dishes, with fresh ingredients and a touch of sophistication and refined familiar taste. My focus goes to the fish/sea food dishes you can find in amavi (something which is hard to find in any other place in Göttingen). A wide selection of wines can also be found. It 's an good place where you can start with dinner, change for a good cocktail in the lounge and even go down to the nightclub with friends. At lunch time, they present a weekly menu with much more affordable prices. Ideal for business lunch or simply to break the routine! I have to try that! Amavi is an elegant and sophisticated industrial-looking hall, where you may feel warmly welcomed by the friendly staff (a bit hearty-bustling as an Italian has to be!... Mamma Mia ...which brings to you a lot of charisma). And I was surprised when I was greeted at the reception by the owners, and did not even realized at first! With such a subtle and corporate presence! It 's a must go!!!
