Bidrage med feedbackGeneral After an exhausting meeting in Berlin, we reached Göttingen hungry and tired after four hours of bus ride. Sweetheart stood parat and we decided to go to dinner after a short load of my luggage. A snack which is easily accessible by public transport (top main road) has been taken out. Ambience, location Cleanliness Located directly on the main road, next to a supermarket is a Greek snack. It can be reached on foot in 2 minutes from the bus stop. The parking situation is rather difficult. Via a small staircase you enter the terrace, which is screened a little to the street by plastic tarpaulins. The noise level is unfortunately maintained. On the terrace you can sit comfortably, but in the interior is also plenty of room to accommodate other guests. Unfortunately, I wasn't in the interior. At the counter you can order directly, as with any snack, and take the food with you. Everything worked very clean, here you have an eye on it. Not typical. Very nice! Dei men's toilets were also pure as I was told. The classic, Greek decoration elements were used rather sparsely and let the Apollon look more like a restaurant with snacks. You feel very family welcome here. Another positive difference to the otherwise rather impersonal snack on a main road. The tablecloths are blue white, the chairs and tables are simple. That's all I expected. Easy, but good! Service Already at the entrance we were greeted friendly by the house owner who chatted with a lady at the table next to us. A little later, the cards were handed by her son. For me a sprit, for my friend a little beer. We had plenty of time to choose from and we felt well-maintained despite the normal snack service. Another Zaziki was also brought quickly. For a snack a super service! The only manko was in no account, but only a promised price. The card is small and we chose from the classics: for me the Ouzo plate (1 Suwlaki, Bifteki and Gyros with pommes with small salad, 1 Ouzo , for my treasure contained a similar plate of all in double version except the Ouzo for 2 € more (11 and 13 €?. My dearest dip was so delicious and freshly cucumbery that we had to reorder again. My ouzo plate was a normal portion: the gyros crispy and well spiced, the pommes just right cherry and not too fat. The Suwlaki still tender (I once again had my difficulties with removing the wood chip and not tough as you often experienced it. So far everything was perfect, but what was this little meat snug called Bifteki? Rather a big, strongly spiced coffin on the way? And no feta! I love this melting of the cheese in the divine chopstick. I'm glad I didn't take this as a main court. I would have been very disappointed. Very well seasoned (like the Suwlaki and also very tasty, but not what I wanted. So take care of the bifteki choice! All in all, however, this did little to our pleasure. At the end there was another ouzo on the house, which we both like to drink and of course took. For a snack, the food prices are rather high, but this has not disturbed us. We paid €34.60 for two meals, two Zaziki and two drinks. Unfortunately, I forgot my phone, so no photos. Conclusion An exceptionally clean and very friendly snack that has potential to the beautiful Greek restaurant. The food we found well, Bifteki in this way is a matter of taste, the PLV here is somewhat higher than the normal snack. Definitely worth a visit for a delicious gyro!
