Rice House Express Glenn Heights

We ordered two orders of sesame chicken entree which comes with a side of rice. When the order arrived there was no rice in the bag so when we called the store the lady (Selina) told me that we didn’t specify what kind of rice so they just didn’t put any in the bag. We asked if we could just go up there and pick up the rice and they said “no, you have to go through door dash”. So we contacted door dash who told us that normally redelivery is available but it wasn’t available for Rice Box Express at that time. The dasher who was very willing to go back up there and get the rice was very nice but they wouldn’t just give her the rice. I will not be going there anymore. We also asked if we could just go up there to pick it up ourselves and the said no. Then the chicken tasted like it had been sitting out for a really long time.

Ordered the combo lo mein. The dish was so salty I only ate a quarter of it. Also from what I ate and saw there was one shrimp in the whole dish. Wife had the beef fried rice. That dish was in her words disgusting the dish was flavorless and seemed like it had been sitting around and reheated. She took one bite and was done. We 've been regular customers since this location opened. The food used to be hit or miss now it 's a huge miss. We are done with this location.

Order efficiency is wavering down. Not to be expected from this location as it has always been superb in quality and quantity.I was stiffed on a shrimp fried rice and given plan white rice and my two orders of sesame seed chicken was full of stale and or overcooked pieces.

The customer service was excellent, now to the review, WORST CHINESE FOOD EVER! I have never been to a chinese restaurant that was not ran by chinese people, that should have been clue number one. I ordered beef fried rice, no flavor at all! My boyfriend had the Chris fried rice, another clue I should have picked up on, who the hell is Chris? He said it was OK, nothing special. We got 1 soy sauce eachWill not return

Husband ordered one beef broccoli with white rice and one chicken broccoli with fried rice. He picked it up, got home and both orders were beef. The box noted that it was chicken, but when opened it was clearly beef. (I do not eat beef. He called explained that we did not receive what was ordered. He was put on hold, and then instructed to bring it back. There was no apology for the error, on the phone or in person. To make matters worse, the chicken and broccoli was bland, and the rice was gummy. So disappointing...After several incidents of this nature, we are no longer going to patronize this establishment. The food and the customer service have bottomed out.
