Good Mocha. I finally decided to give Take 5 a chance and I really had a great experience. Spent about ten bucks for a small mocha and breakfast sandwich which Jeremy heated it for me. I know it cost a bit more than Tm Horton but you do get quality product and friendly staff who are not afraid to smile or chat. With a great staff like Jeremy, it is definitely worth checking it out.
Coming back from UBC late today, I was hungry and decided to try Take 5 Cafe at Richmond Centre Mall today. I 've only had their drinks before and gelato. Their mango frappe and cafe mocha is extremely delicious. I called up my mom who was at work and we shared the: 1) Chicken Parmesan Pasta $7.99) Chicken Parmesan Pasta The person who worked there heated it up for us. At first glance, the tub of pasta didn 't look like there was enough. But when you scoop to the bottom, there were several giant pieces of fried chicken. The pasta and the sauce was tasty. However, the cheese was parmesan powder, and I usually like my cheese stringy and melted. I had to dip my chicken in the pasta sauce to taste the yumminess of it, otherwise it would be like normal, frozen chicken. Of course, it wasn 't enough to feed two, but I think for one person, it is a decent size. I do think it 's a tad expensive. Other pasta places such as at UBC) is cheaper. Rating: 3.8/5 2) Tiramisu $5) Box of Tiramisu 'lady fi
A great coffee and dessert place. They have your usual mix of specialty coffees and add to that a selection of pastries and sandwiches. They also have a gelato cooler. While it is mass produced gelato it is pretty tasty. There are both regular tables to sit at but it is also right beside a large lounge space in the mall. The line has power spots for laptop plug in. Staff are friendly and usually quick at their jobs. Parking is readily available from the mall, they are on a major bus hub and the Canada line is very close.
