This is primarily a place for adults, couples and groups. No children’s menu. Staff are on from the moment you step inside and food that we ordered, was prepared to perfection. Prices, this is not McDonald’s, expect to use 1500-2000 for a couples evening out. Worth every Norwegian krone. Parking: Street parking and parking lot not far away. EATERY, or as it was called in one of our narrow valleys once: Spiseforretning, is centrally located and expanded almost at a traffic light and a few steps from a stingingly expensive car park in Gjøvik. Eatery keeps rigid Norwegian prices, as most restaurants do in Norway. If you manage to overlook that fact, the menu is clear and without plastic around and many well used pages. The kitchen should be praised for its deliciousness, and the service had no flaws that dragged the experience down. In pleasant company in a room that filled up throughout the afternoon, the place seems like one of the better ones before the payment terminal was placed on the table. When the division of family one two three was made in advance, some avoided the worst shock. All in all, the place can be recommended, but be there in plenty of time to book a table. This is hands down the best dining spot in Gjøvik! We had dinner here and it was fantastic. The price per person ranges from kr 400-500. The food was top-notch, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. There is plenty of parking available as well.
