Girardot

Small town with many weekenders from Bogota come there to enjoy the warm weather and rest. People are kind and there are limited choices of hotels to choose from. One mall in the city but a beautiful drive from Bogota through the mountains to get there.

This one of the very few good restaurants in Girardot. This does not mean it is the best but has good pizza and the Naranjada jar is grate for thirsty ones. Rate is 4 because there really are not too many options in this town. Waitres are friendly and cordial. The Cochinillo is also a good choice. Don't forget to try the salad side that comes with all plates, it's delicious. Too bad they only work few hours a day from 6:00 pm to 9:30pm and only from Thursday to Sunday perhaps because there are not many tourists the other days.
