Gilford House Of Pizza

Having travelled to Gilford and looking for a local restaurant, the whole Sheets Giggles J-80 Sailing Race Team ordered twice in the space of four days! The Special and Meat Lovers Pizza, Buffalo Wings, Garlic Bread and Caesar Salad were so good! Overall bad experience. The woman at the register was clearly high she kept having us repeat our orders (just two pizzas, nothing complicated), and told us she was totally sober (super out of the blue). She interrupted in the middle of the order and started talking about how they should make pizza edibles. The first pizza took about 20 minutes to come out, the second one was more like 40. It was clear they forgot the order and it was also incorrect, but we didn’t want to wait for them to fix it. On the way out they said “Sorry about all of that” never fully addressed forgetting the order and never offered to comp it. The pizza itself was very oily, the cheese slid right off when you picked it up to eat. The bathrooms were also gross. Overpriced and an awful experience. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Very good pizza spot. The pizza here is excellent and unique. I've always eaten in the restaurant and can say it is very clean and welcoming. The food is excellent and always comes out hot/fresh. The only negatives I have about this spot is the prices are slightly high and that the wait times are very long. If you don't call ahead to pick up and you drop in it can take well over an hour for 1 basic pizza but it is worth the wait.
