It’s a gross hairy food place. I have been coming here for years and used to love it, but in the last few months I’ve had experiences that have pushed me to not come back. Today I was charged for two bagel sandwiches that I didn’t receive. They were bagels but not the sandwiches. When I went to bite into the food I pulled what looked liked bits of white dog/cat hair. It was baked into the items. Their facility must be super disgusting for all items to have hair. This is the second time we found hair so we won’t be back.
My sister I visited while staying at the Sheraton- easy walk over. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. Our lattes and cappuccinos were fantastic! The chai latte was one of the best I’ve ever had!
We had a tea reservation for 3:30, got there a bit early and we were able to sit in our spot. However, we waited for at least another hour until we were acknowledged. While waiting, I decided to order a pistachio cake, after my wife and I took a bite, we realized there was mold growing on the nut crust. Traded it in for a cookie but was first offered the same moldy cake. Said it was not made in house and that’s why it was moldy. Strange. (Should’ve warranted a refund)Nearly an hour after our high tea was supposed to begin, some of the food came out. We still hadn’t been served the tea because the pots were being used by the other table. Sounds kind of gross. When asking if there was anything else coming out I was made aware the 30 dollars paid wasn’t the full price. Was kind of shocked to find it was an additional 90 dollars. For what exactly? It’s certainly borderline if not a straight up rip off.It was overall a management failure. I don’t blame the *two* employees working since they were being over-tasked. Y’all have got to work with them in some areas. If you’re going to have a high tea service, the staffing and equipment have to be adequately supplied.
