Monument Cafe - Georgetown

Was passing through for work and a family member recommended this place for lunch. I had eggs Benedict with potatoes and a slice of coconut cream pie. Great taste and simplicity at its finest. Atmosphere is a old school diner style which I enjoyed. I sat at the counter since I was by myself, waitress was super friendly. Odd to say about a restaurant like this but the restrooms are very nice and private and clean. Highly recommend and will be coming back.

Every single thing right down to the jelly they serve on the homemade biscuits is made from scratch IN THE restaurant. The chicken fried steak was AMAZING ?

I found this place with a Google search on my way home from out of town. Man, did I score big! This place was great. After my first bite, I knew I had to leave a review. The salmon was seared to perfection, the green beans had a great butter flavor, and the almonds gave it that finishing crunch. Wow! I will definitely find a reason to come back. If you are in the area, this place will not disappoint. Parking: There is a really big parking lot next to the building. For being in a down town location, parking was a breeze.

Great place, I have been here many times and have only had a great experience. No complaints. Kid-friendliness: A good place for kids.
