I had the peanut meat curry/stew which was lovely, the guy serving was very helpful despite me speaking no Italian/French and him having limited English. I was outside and got kinda annoyed by how many people stopped and looked and just carried on (to be fair they really could do a better job of describing the food on the menu! . Given the significant African population in Genoa, if you're here for more than 1-2 nights and don't come here, you're definitely a racist! (OK probably not but a bit of clickbait never hurt anyone and its defnitely worth a visit and a much better bet than some of the more mediocre tourist-y places nearby, mentioning no names my other review!
Eccellent fish, fresh, very tasty. The other dish was chicken with rice and vegetables- very good too. Pleasant atmosphere, very sympathetic place.
Me and my husband went last week to the restaurant to try new cuisine. As it was a off season, we were the only people in the restuarant. We ordered two dishes, one cost (20€ the fish item another a chicken (14€ and 2 coca colas. The food was good. When we wanted to pay, the waitress told us 57€, while she calculated in front is us and wrote 43€. We were very surprised, so we asked for a reciept. She gave us a reciept of 57€, but no detail reciept. we did not want to create a scene, so we just paid and left immediately. We want to advice to vist either in groups, where you have someone who speak italian. because the waitress could not speak any english. pay attention what you order and how much it costs. We were very disspointed about the incidence, but the food was really tasty.
I highly recommend this restaurant: it was a pleasant surprise. the owner is very nice! the kitchen is tasty but not excessively spicy. abundant portions. I'm sorry I couldn't get back before I left.
Dishes with very particular and not excessively spicy gorges, very abundant courses and kind staff. everything very good and “artistic”, absolutely to try. Good fish too, good fish!
