Zanzibar Lounge African Cuisine

Everything about it was just perfect. Was here for a Birthday lunch. Food was top notch, really tasty , well spiced and great food presentatation. Best African cuisine we have had in CH. The ambience and atmosphere, deco etc ...all round inviting and lovely. The super service with attention to detail. central located in a good area. Very friendly owner and Chef who we had the pleasure to meet. Thank YOU Chef Antony for the lovely food experience we had at this this GEM of a Restaurant. We shall be back!

It’s so interesting how we ended up having dinner for free at this lovely restaurant. Ironically, we saw a nice man dining at an Italian restaurant not too far from Zanzibar. We exchanged brief smiles and then continue eating our meals. The following day we saw the same man at the same restaurant. We waved at him and smiled as we passed by. They next day was the last day of our trip and we wanted something delicious to eat. We happened to run into the same guy and his friend. This time we held a conversation exchanging brief introductions. We asked where we could get food at this late hour (11 pm). They both recommended Zanzibar and even called the restaurant requesting they remained opened so we could dined there. Icing on the cake, our new friend told the restaurant to charge the meal to his bill. We thanked them and went quickly to the restaurant as instructed. Mr Anthony and staff treated us like royalty. They served us the Zanzibar chicken with rice and gave use a bottle of Edizione red wine to drink. Everything was delicious. We shared a delightful and informative conversation with Mr Anthony and staff. The inside decor is so lovely. I will definitely return to this restaurant.

Best African restaurant in Geneva , I loved how they made our food

My favourite African restaurant in Geneva. Best customer experience, great music, lovely friendly staff, fresh food with fresh ingredients. We also come here not just for the food. The hospitality is amazing. Thank you, Anthony for always hosting us like royalty. See you again soon. My fav dish is the lamb shank, love the okra and side dips. Also love the seafood dishes....I love everything! The chef is amazing!!

Incredible everything is extremely good the cocktails the starters etc frankly I am so happy the restaurants are magnificent clean class the staff are adorable and the boss is very welcoming I advise you all to go there straight away there are not enough stars and that is also my first comment on Google really oblige thank you Zanzibarje come back very quickly
