Bidrage med feedbackI knew this restaurant from a reference and, once you find it hidden in the Grottes quartier, it's a great experience, impossible to forget. Calm, spacious and above all a great dining pleasure. Excellent quality taking into account the fair pricing of the restaurant. One gets the filling that the chef (and owner of the place) enjoys cooking for a small and appreciating audience. An address to recommend!
Me and my wife recently visited the 2 star Joel Robuchon restaurant at the Metropole Hotel in Monte Carlo so it was easy to judge the standard of food here. The pre starter was delicious. The tempura vegetables in a gazpacho was also excellent and very well presented. As mains we had king prawns in a light madras sauce, and beef entrecôte Simmental with seasonal vegetables, all in a beautiful mustard dressing. The combinations of tastes and textures were excellent, and the Simmental beef was well cooked. All in all a great experience and definitely value for money. We will almost certainly be returning.
We took the plat du jour excellent.Good wine, Efficient and pleasant service. excellent value for money
Le Lexique is definitely a hidden gem, the location is not obvious but also not very hard to find. I found out about this place from the book Where Chefs Eat and was really pleased. It is small but has a great atmosphere. I ordered the Cote de Provence rosé to start which was amazing. My husband ordered the chef's menu so he started with the prawns which were crunchy and had an amazing flavor. I started with the foie gras, which didn't disappoint. For my main I ordered the ravioli with asparagus and mushrooms which I can not recommend enough! The sauce it was in was really light but packed with flavor, I still dream of the silky texture and pasta. My husband had the veal for his main which was super flavorful and came with a sauce that I was tempted to lick right off the plate. For dessert I had the flourless chocolate cake which was the perfect way to end the meal. I would absolutely eat here again, it was the best meal we had in Geneva!
This was a great and tasty experience! The foie gras was so good, and well presented! The vegetable with the peanuts sauce were good but maybe could be improved as we can't tell what kind of vegetables are inside the pastry.. but still really good. The entrecote was fabulous!!! Cooked perfectly, the sauce was delicious as the potatoes and the vegetables. The meat was tender and melting, it was one of the best entrecote I never had.The desert was very good also! The waitress was nice and discrete. The restaurant was not full but still nice atmosphere. We had a pinot noir which was excellent. I guess the suggestion menu for 68.- is a really good deal and the quality is definitely on each plates.I recommend this restaurant for a nice romantic diner!
