The food: I ordered the vegetarian option that worked incredibly dry (although you actually need at least 2 glasses...of water during the meal, practically empty (2 VERY thin slices of tomatoes, a few salad leaves and the smallest amount of spread they have forgotten something? , and just simple boring and bland. Service: no waiter/growth looked in my direction for the 40 minutes I stayed (it was more test to see if someone would, even if I tried to get their attention. The statement implies that nobody had the concern to ask how my meal was, or whether I want a drink. The atmosphere was cold and uninviting, probably sharpened because of the level of the service the number of employees and their interest. It seems they are only desperate for money and customers, but do not acknowledge the customers that are already present. There's no thing I don't like in this place to be honest. The salt and pepper Calamari was a good dish, but now with the 50% price jump next to the atmosphere of the place, I am no longer interested.
The restaurant provided a pleasant setting for dinner. Although it is known for its specialty burgers, they are of a higher quality than typical fast food options. The menu also includes non-burger choices. The prices were fair and because the restaurant was nearly empty, we were able to sit at a larger table. However, the music was turned up after our meal, catering to a different crowd, so we decided it was time for us "oldies" to head home.
This was the most disappointing meal I have had in years! I ordered the Vietnamese Chicken Roll, which consisted of dry, over-boiled chicken pieces, some salad, tomatoes, a few mint and coriander leaves, aioli or mayonnaise, and a sprinkle of sauce, all served in a hot dog roll. It was edible but lacked taste. My wife ordered the pumpkin, ginger, and chickpea soup with Parmesan bread, but the soup was bland and the bread never arrived despite being promised by the waiter. We won't be returning to this restaurant, as there are many better options in Geelong for a light meal.
My colleague and I visited Get Burgered this week after having dinner at a pizza restaurant the night before. We decided to try the Wagu cheeseburger and were impressed by the flavor. The chips served on the side were some of the best I've had. The desserts were delicious, and the beer was cold. The service was also excellent. Overall, we had a great experience at Get Burgered.
Where to start. Once seated we where told by a young teenage boy that the kitchen was kind of smashed and the food he thinks well might be half an hour not an hour like it was so order quick to avoid a long wait...ok. The four of us looked at the menu and decided what we would have so I got up to order, well this is where it turns to s,,t I was told by a women I would have to wait for 3 tables to place there order before ours as they were seated first regardless of wether or not they were even ready to order or there before us for that matter. The rest is history as people no that read any of my reviews I give it as I see it plain and simple. WE GOT UP WALKED OUT AND DIDNT WAIT FOR THE OVERPRICED SLOP THAT EVERY ONE ELSE SEEMS TO BE QUOTING WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.
