Bidrage med feedbackI’d been here a couple of times before for coffee, snacks and a light lunch, but this was the first time I had ordered a proper sized meal from the menu. We ordered the big ‘Kindass’ breakfast and the more lunchy lasagne. The lasagne was a decent size, which I must say not all lasagne dishes I’ve experienced are, and its sugo was very tasty and not too sweet. It could’ve had a crisper top, but it was still pretty good. The breakfast, while having some very nice components, wasn’t prepared or put together very well. The bacon was dry rather than crisp, and there was really nothing moist or vegetable on the plate to temper all the protein and carbs. I’d have preferred they reduce the serving of scrambled tofu which contained spinach, the only vegetable in the dish or drop one of the hash browns, and stick in a roasted tomato or a small serve of baked beans. With the price at 25 one is not inclined to make additions to address the issue. Still there is a lot of good stuff happening here, including some very attractive baked goods. We shared a nice cinnamon scroll with coffee. Vegan croissants are still in so few places in Melbourne, and this cafe has them. Equal first place for vegan brunch in Geelong.
Lovely staff. Grocery items. Great food. Outdoor seating. Yummy vegan food.
The food here is to die for especially the pies. They have the best range of vegan cheeses, condiments and cold cuts in Geelong. There takeaway meals are so tasty and reasonably priced
Our visit to Feast was delightful. The menu has a good range of items, as well as additional items in the cabinet; including quiche, burgers, lasagne, crumpets, bowls, and salads. The fridge stocks one of the most interest selections of cheese i have ever seen. I noticed you can order a cheese platter to enjoy in the cafe. The cabinet also houses some amazing looking sweets such as the rarely found, vanilla slice and traditional caramel slice. I couldn't resist taking home the lemon meringue pie and a cherry slice, but there were also so many different biscuits as well I could have bought so much more! . Also fresh salads and take home meals are available in the fridge. We enjoyed our coffees. The burger was tasty and fresh. The lasagne was delicious with a tasty 'meaty' filling and béchamel sauce, served with a lovely salad.
Incredible coffee, meals, cakes, deli meats and cheeses, lollies... There is so much on offer here and they're very environmentally conscious! I go here every time I visit Geelong.
