Even thought its a UNESCO food heritage site I was quite disappointed, I went twice to try a variety of food. The food was tepid and flavourless most of the time, some dishes stood out which showed potential but others were a disappointment. Staff was decent it can get quite busy and someone really helped me understand the menu as a solo foreigner, however I'm not sure this would be available all the time. I think as a UNESCO site there should be more information on the dishes, their Provenance and waiters should be knowledgeable and able to answer questions.

Great restaurant for vegetarian eating. this place has delicious food and so many sorts for vegetarians. many thanks for the creation of a space for vegetarians enjoy the gastronomy of gaziantep. a UNESCO city of gastronomy.

Nice authentic food and not that expensive at all 15$ for everything, one soup , plate of starters and plate of 5 small main dishes, 2 meatballs and 4 Stuffed veggie Dolma I liked everything it not the stuffed veggie

Delicious, authentic local food! Sometimes it’s hard get beyond kabobs and other common dishes in Turkey. But this place has unique dishes that most foreigners have never heard of. I had a delicious yogurt based stew with green almonds, a spicy lamb stew, tons of dips, etc. They offer small plates so you can try everything, and the owner is fluent in English and can explain what everything is. Super friendly service and historic location as well. And not touristic prices! I was surprised how reasonable it was. Highly recommend.
