Bidrage med feedbackGreat newly renovated restaurant. The price is high, but it is beautiful quality. The service was fast and they really understand how important it is to deliver food quickly as most visitors are on their way to the theatre. I got the octopus salad and the ratatouille with the chocolate mousse for dessert and was very happy with everything!
I ate here twice in one week before seeing shows at the Ahmanson and Mark Taper Forum, I loved it! Great cocktails, loved the brussel sprouts (shared them both nights) and had great meals! In addition, staff came by and cleared us (with wrist bands)for the shows!
Delicious! The atmosphere is certainly a bit fun, but it was well worth it! I wasn't extremely hungry, so I opted for the Caesar salad and brussels sprouts, both of which were excellent. The wine selection was impressive, and my friend ordered the chicken along with a delightful cocktail. The service was speedy, and we had plenty of time to make it to our show.
The food was fantastic! I had the Flatiron Steak with Pommes, and the portion size was larger than I anticipated. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The restaurant is conveniently located just a short walk from the music center, making it quite practical. It was also quite busy, so I recommend making a reservation.
Even if you're not going to a show, Kendall ranks among the top fine dining experiences in Downtown LA. While the menu isn't vast, every dish is expertly crafted. We've dined there several times, sampling various items on the menu, including appetizers. The staff is outstanding—highly professional and attentive, always checking in on guests and well-versed in the menu. During our last visit, we tried their chicken dish, which was exceptional. It featured a large chicken breast with crispy skin, accompanied by potatoes, tomatoes, and other delicious elements, all in a rich broth. We also ordered the shellfish dish, which includes shrimp and an assortment of seafood in a flavorful broth. This has become a favorite for my grandson, who loves the abundance of seafood. They recently introduced a new Caesar salad that may not sound remarkable, but it’s honestly the best Caesar salad I've ever tasted. The dressing is extraordinary, and the romaine is fresh and crisp. It even has some kale in it, which my grandson carefully removed, but he still loved everything else, as did I. The dish also includes some antipasto meats, which we tried for the first time. They come baked in a small bowl with spices and are absolutely fantastic. I wouldn’t have ordered this as an appetizer before, but now we definitely will when we return. Don’t forget to try their truffles and coffee—they're excellent. Be sure to get their bread; it's worth it. The desserts are also outstanding, with the chocolate pot being the must-try—simply delicious. You'll surely love this place!
