Too bad that a negative assessment cannot be left. This place is a garbage dump! The first impression, the place looks as if you simply keep the highway in an I'll trailer park with half the view drop off and someone's throw garbage from what looks like a flop house that separates the business from the highway. Inside is not much better! Despite that look from the locals who all seem to have grown into their own bar stools, with the view that you just went into the Twilight Zone. You will also gain a special treat from Mille Lac's extraordinary rude staff who act as if you are an inconvenience for them because they are there if you want to be fai t service, you better plan to put your time in this jewel because they make sure that all their locals serve before every visitor. They certainly pointed out that they have NO food program, unless you want nameless frozen bar pizza that saw a thinly encrusted version of something they saw in Aitkin County Jail from their ONE magic pizza oven behind the bar! It was nice to see that they sold pizza even though, because every table or bar spot got a shiny (empty) pizza pan to mean that it ordered a pizza and at any point Uncle Carl the blood cough, toothless gent that has grown into the bar, could bring a pizza as a favor to the bar staff (for a free drink) so that they don't have to leave the bar that have to be broken. If you go to this place, be warned that you have an ultimate feeling of increased self-respect to go to your next therapy session. Also, you probably 't make it because this place is a **** of real Notrthwood's adventure, risk and life. Just don't get Botulism or Dessentarry on your holiday in the Trailer Park!

Very disappointed and will never come back to this place. We were completely ignored by the bartender. The place wasnt even busy. There was a few people at the bar and we sat at the high top closest to the bar. No other table's wer taken. The bartender sipped on her drink and made conversation with the others at the bar and it didn't even acknowledge us. We got up and left. The place is run down and they obviously do not care about their reputation.

Been there twice. Both times felt very cold reception from bar tender. Same Gal both times: no smile, no warmth. Been in business for a long time and know the importance of friendly customer service. Maybe she needs to be told get over yourself, it 's not about you!!!

Bartender completely ignored us seated in the bar. Did not get drinks or food. Never been to this establishment and will not go again.
