Great service, love the carnitas tacos! And the piñas coladas are so good too. And OMG the fry ice cream is so delicious!

I visited this place with my group on 21st Jan 2022 after 10:30pm. Atmosphere at this place have loud music playing, hard to listen or communicate in such environment. Appetizer were really good, but main dishes were okay. Best part about this place was the drinks. Be careful what you order for drink because there are some drinks that are strong and expensive as well. Server kept up with our order request and food was delivered with timely manner. Overall I had a good time and will visit this place for future reference and try something new.

My wife and I absolutely loved this place! We were headed out to an event up the block and arrived early. So we noticed this cool funky awesome place. What a fantastic unplanned stop!!!! Our bartender Joanna was wonderful and made the best Margherita that we ever had.....seriously! Her colleague Efrain was great as well. The chips and salsa hit the spot also. The decor was fun, unique, wacky and really cool. We wanted to stay and watch the band that was setting up and try the food, but we had to go to our event. Otherwise we would have stayed all night. I really wish that this was in my neighborhood and not an hour away. This would definitely be my go to place......could you tell that we enjoyed it? If you happen to be in Garfield NJ, make sure you stop in for a Margherita and say hello to Joanna and Efrain for us! Cheers!

Do yourself a favor and go eat there NOW! I celebrated my bday yesterday and I couldn't be any more happier with EVERYTHING! 1) EVERYONE from valet, the hostess to the waitress were extremely friendly. 2) The drinks were fantastic. I ordered a medium mango margarita with a shot of tequila and a shot of Corona. It wasn't too sweet or too powerful, the drinks were simply wonderful. 3) The food was AMAZING! the appetizers and main course where nothing short of delicious. I LOVED the vibe. The entire wait staff brought out my dessert with a sparkler. I was given a Sombrero to wear as a drummer played happy birthday and everyone sang along. They have definitely gained a customer. Thank you La Fortaleza! I'll see you guys again soon.

My manager and I decided to get Mexican for lunch and tried this spot. When we arrived we parked in their private lot. We walked in and was greeted. We were served by Valentina and she was cool. I started with their strawberry lemonade which was tasty. For my entrée I got the fried red snapper with a side of garlic sauce and my manager got the pork tacos. The food looked pretty good when it came out. I dug in and the garlic sauce was pretty salty. The red snapper was bland as I got to the middle. My manager enjoyed his meal though. At check in I had a free order of guacamole and luckily I did because their guacamole is $14 which is crazy. All in all I had an ok experience.
