Dave Buster's Gaithersburg

Despite making a reservation at 6 and arriving at 6, I was told I would need to wait 10 minutes for the table to be ready, after 11 minutes I approached the hostess who checked that the table was ready, no one came to let us know and I had 2 small boys that I had to buy power cards for to keep them busy. No one refilled our water, we had to flag someone down for a soda refill. One of the boys was given the last booster seat that had a broken buckle making it impossible to secure. My child kept tipping forward so we held the back of the chair down the whole night. I indicated on the reservation it was my birthday, no one acknowledged it, so why even ask when making the reservation? We spent close to $500 and will think again where I choose.

The service was really disappointing. Our waitress took out order and never came back to see if we needed anything else. I had to go find her to get what we wanted. Half of the bathroom was not working, no toilet paper, toilets full, only one out of 3 faucets worked. Some of the games had broken parts, but still took your money. So sad to see this place already falling apart and nobody seems to care.

Good way to spend an afternoon. We met some friends here on a Sunday. We requested to sit in the bar area and they were very accommodating, asking if there was a particular game we were wanting to see. Cocktails were just OK, but they had a good draft special. They have a few 5$ bar snacks and i really liked the Flatbread. Our waitress, Monica, was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive and professional.The games were lacking a bit. Many were out of order. A few we played were not working correctly. Some are very boring. You swipe your card and then get 1 turn, which sometimes only lasts a second. There are no instructions that I could find, so figuring out a game sometimes takes a few swipes. This did not ruin our fun, just could have been better.Overall we had a great afternoon and plan on returning.

I made a reservation for my daughter's birthday for 11 am. I didn't necessarily need the reservation to reserve a table but I wanted to notify the restaurant the fact it was for a birthday. I'm not sure the staff knew of the reservation as there was not even a staff member to greet us. After asking what packages or services they offer for a birthday, I was just told they could provide a candle. For food we tried ordering a flatbread but was told they were out. (They were catering a business event in the private room). Thankfully, my daughter had a good time playing the games because there was no effort for accommodating her birthday otherwise.
