Pvp Pao Vinho E Petiscos - Funchal

Really disappointing! The food quality was well cooked and plentiful. The chips and potatoes were good. The wine list was extensive and reasonable value. The service was good and attentive. What totally spoilt it was that both the starters squid and chorizo were swimming in oil. And then the main course of mixed grilled fish was also swimming in so much oil such that the plate at the end was still covered in it! We complained but not a satisfactory answer. Unfortunately spoilt it and could not return.

The first time at pwp, but do not definitiw the last. an excellent lunch for a competitive price. delicious food.

Beautiful eating, cooked and tasted as good as it looked

This restaurant is very close to our apartment so we patronise this place quite a bit. Speak as you find, always a warm welcome, very good food and wines and a great choice menu. The pricing is very fair and the surroundings very pleasant. Incredible selection of wines, spirits and Madeira wines. The place is always busy and seems to have many locals dining there which speaks volumes. Overall opinion is excellent and great value dining.
