Charlotte Plummer's Seafare Resturant

Every time we visit Rockport, TX, we always go to Charlotte Plummer's Seafood Restaurant. We eat the best seasoned broken, fried butterfly shrimps and fish plate in the world. Great salad bar. Fresh, fresh and nothing but fresh fish! Friendly people! Just had our vacation cut very short, came there Tuesday, 22 and had to pack and go in a hurry early Thursday, 24. God bless all people in Rockport. A beautiful place to visit. Hurricane Harvey will not take this beautiful, happy city at the golf.

Good service, very nice restaurant. Bar is upstairs (not sure who decided that LOL, Anyway, the food is quite good. Good solid seafood. Good hamburgers and other sandwiches. Restaurant is well taken care of and on the water. Good ambiance. We enjoyed it.

Food is unexpectedly terrible . When gumbo and tortilla soup was brought out , it was like warm . When it was addressed the waiter mentioned that the crockpot was not turned on . That means that it's not made fresh everyday . That means it has been out in the fridge for reuse for next day . Shrimp taste like they are frozen with terrible batter ...

We were a little hesitant to eat here on our trip based on the other reviews; however the food and service were great! Debbie was an amazing server fun, quick, and informative. She promptly took our orders, let us know there might be a bit of a wait given how busy it was, and was overall a delight. The food was solid for a tourist town! Particularly the shrimp gumbo it is delicious! Crab cakes are actual crab, no fillers here impressive! Ambiance was lively, clean and neat view of the shrimp boats and water. We would definitely eat here again, oh and the prices were reasonable.

Excellent fried shrimp and fried oysters. Good value. Shrimp gumbo was very tasty. Good service.
