Restaurant Baren - Freudenstadt

Here came 2 times as remained in the area for work, there were 5 of us and we all agreed the meals we were super, from pepper steak to Sirloin to local German dishes they were all brilliant when you were in this... area please try it, you will not be disappointed

After many average experiences with meat in Germany I found this place in the Black Forest, which offers great dishes like in South Africa with German splendour. Everything for this place. Remember that the strange German dinner times between 6 and 9 a.m. afterwards the owner could close the kitchen. Enjoy Thomas

Whilst working in this area I was lucky enough to stay at the Baren hotel and naturally I tried the restaurant. Sadly my German is very poor and there was no English menu but they helped with the menu and a steak in pepper sauce...was ordered medium rare. The perfect steak was delivered quickly and was med rare something that happens very rarely in the UK. Beer was excellent and despite it being very quiet on this particular night the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff friendly. I will ensure that I return here when I am next in the area.

Ubytovali jsme se v hotelu a měli k dispozici večeři a snídani v tomto malebném hotelu. Leží v krásném prostředí.

Wir waren über Ostern für 2 Nächte im Bären und haben Samstag Abend die Spargelkarte genoßen. Sowohl der Spargel als auch das Rinderhüftsteak waren spitze!
