Don Pepe Taqueria - Fresno

I've been looking for good Mexican food since I moved here from Orange County. Don Pepe is the best in Fresno

Good food, good value, comes out fast and portion size is large. You order at the counter and they bring your food out, with options for to-go or dine-in. In the chorizo burrito I didn't really taste any egg as it must have been covered up by the chorizo. Very informal environment with patio seating from where you can hear the street noise. Would like to try more options so I can provide a more complete review.

My coworker is from Hanford and was riding with me. It was almost 12:00 I new he never had Don Pepe's so I took him there for lunch I had El Pastore tacos. They were delicious. He had a lingua torta and told me it was one of the best he had ever ate. Even though it was the lunch rush they took my order in a timely fashion and had our food to us fast we kept our lunch to just about 30 minutes eating at the restaurant. I definitely recommend for a quick lunch or anytime it's delicious.

This this a torta to them?? Two fried tortillas with meat?? Micheladas and tacos are good but this?? Did they run out of bread?

A busy place at lunch, lighting fast service, good tasting food and of course the salsa bar with veges and pico. A few things, I had them for dinner through door dash and they included no salsa or veges with my order and the quesadilla was beyond greasy. 2 days later I went in for lunch and wow can they move some food in a little space in a short amount of time. Table space was at a premium but they turned quick. A great tasty burrito.
