My spouse and I visited Beijing House a few years ago. My brother had been here lately with a friend. I'm sure my brother and I had dimmed with our parents as young adults at the Beijing House. The point is that Beijing House is a familiar, comforting Chinese restaurant to residents. We immediately got a teapot while sitting and started our lunch with a cocktail. My brother had salted his ordinary margarita on the rock with the rim. I drank a rum and coca. I chose Hunan lamb for my late lunch entrée today. The lambs were very delicate and hardly require mastication. My brother chose Bird's Nest Delicacies, consisting of lobsters, shrimps, scallops and mixed vegetables, immersed in a potato nest with white sauce. Do I have to say that he even swallowed the nest of roasted potato strands? Each one of us was full of dinner, we skipped desserts and refreshments after dinner. Note that Beijing Ente is a home specialty in Beijing House.
Best Beijing Duck Ever. Swear on my honor as a native Beijing that this place is quan Ju De in China.
This is an excellent fusion of southern fried chicken and Chinese seasoning. The taste is unforgettable. The $35 meal is shareable for two, imo. The chicken wings are standard, not much to brag about there. Nonetheless, definitely worth the try.
Great local restaurant. My husband and I really enjoy Beijing House. We were never disappointed. I tend to order the same... just because it's wonderful Mango Chicken! But there are so many other great dishes to choose. It is convenient and we have found the waiting staff to be very friendly and attentive. I recommend this restaurant when you go through or when you live on site and have not tried yet.
Decent Sit-Down Chinese. Definitely a sit-down restaurant. Average prices (around 10 or 12 dollars for chicken with broccoli). Food is very good, but the service was iffy. It may depend on the waiter or the time of day, but it 's not enough to prevent me from eating there again. Overall, a good actual Chinese restaurant as opposed to take-out places.
