Aarzu Modern Indian Bistro - Freehold

Arzu is really nice Indian restaurant for exotic Indian food. Place has great ambience and great food. It is not a good idea to go for more than 8 people. We were party of 9 people but they really managed well to fit us in. It’s great for a romantic date, small group or big banquets. Place has wonderful service and really great menu for all 4 courses. I highly recommend this place.

Had a good time here. There's two seating areas one in a more public area (ideally for larger groups) and the second is a bit more intimate (ideally for two people). The food was great and really well made. Dessert was delicious and presented intricately. The staff was also very courteous. The only issue we had was that it was BYOB and that the drinks tasted like Frooti and boxed Guava juice. Not sure if I'll go again because the drinks felt poorly made but the food is definitely worth it.

There were already a few seated tables ready for dining just a few minutes after they opened the door and I see why. I recommend ordering a few different things if you’re with a group and sharing because all of their options are great. Beautiful setting and appears to be BYOB as well.

We didn't eat there because of the pandemic, but our take out order was so delicious. We didn't have to wait too long for the order, server was nice, everything appetizer, entrees and dessert were great, we loved it. We finally had a chance to dine in (02/19/22), all what we ordered was so great.

Best Indian restaurant in Jersey ! We live 1 hour away from Freehold and we visited this restaurant already 4 times since Dec 2020. We are a foodie family and we love eating out but we never eat at Indian restaurants because in most places the food is not as good as what we cook at home. But Aarzu is a class apart ! Modern, eclectic fine dining place with. Very unique menu. Today we had their duck tacos and they were outstanding. In our previous visits I tried their grilled octopus and smoked quail eggs and both were exquisite! A perfect balance of flavor and authenticity. We got the mango avocado bhel today and the sweet, spicy and tangy just exploded my tastebuds !! Another special that we tried today was Karavalli shrimp and loved it. Our all time favorite however is the dessert platter with chocolate halwa, orange kulfi and many other delicious stuff! Kudos to the chef!! Keep up the great job!
