Dona Tere - Fredericksburg

We decided to check out this restaurant for an early lunch or late breakfast. My mother ordered a Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant with potatoes, while I got the two taco combination with lengua tacos. Both dishes were delicious. The only downside was that the air freshener in the dining area was a bit overpowering and the music was too loud, making it hard to have a conversation across the table. Expect to spend at least $10 per meal, which may be a bit pricey for a breakfast or lunch spot, but the food was worth it.

On Wednesdays, there is a special deal on pupusas for $1.50 each at this restaurant. You don't need to charm any Salvadoran women to get the deal, you can simply walk in and enjoy. Don't forget to ask for extra curtido!

This was our first time dining here and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Salvatruco (plantains, pupusas, beans, and cream) and the Lomo Saltado (beef, tomatoes, onions, and rice over crispy fries). The Lomo Saltado was recommended by a staff member named Idania, and it was a great choice. The fries somehow stayed crispy even with the beef and veggies on top - a magical creation! The Salvatruco came with a generous serving of delicious cabbage. The prices were reasonable, the dining room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend trying this place out.

Excellent first visit to this gem of a restaurant. Wonderful food with great service. Huevas Ranchero were the best I've had. Wish I had found this place sooner. Will definitely return to try the bakery assortment as I had no room to do so this visit.

This place was amazing! eating was delicious, not cooked over, and reminds them of their salvadorian mothers cooked home. the lady who took our order was polite and happy to help and the patient she had was from this world, as I was with the family with 2 small children. pupusas were definitiw fresh, as my son has a milk allergy and cannot have a cheese. wife loved the quezobirria from here. with the different types of sweet brote there was definitely this place out. that is a restaurant that will be there for a past, and we will soon be real again.
