Birds Nest Yakitori - Fortitude Valley

Popped in off the street with my partner, very accommodating and sat us immediately. Lovely vibe, great staff and the food was delicious. We shared pork belly skewers and a karaage chicken bowl. Very fast and attentive. Will be back

We ordered the $45 share plate special and it was truly a taste sensation. Everything was delicious and great value for money. Great service, great food and one we will repeat soon.

This was the best Japanese meal I’ve had this year in 2022. The garlic prawns were the very best I’ve EVER had anywhere! And having a genuine Happy Hour (for 30 minutes) just adds to how very pleasant dinning at Bird’s Nest can be. Our waitress was excellent and the service was fast. No complaints at all. I’ll certainly be back. What have I been missing out on as a FV local, as this was my first experience here.

After our Story Bridge walk, we got the City Hopper ferry back across the river and walk into Fortitude Valley for another lovely dinner at Birds Nest Restaurant. This is our third visit and the food continues to amaze and delight us. Starters: Taki (Octopus) Carpaccio Salmon Sashimi. Street Food: Yakisoda Crispy Tofu stir fried noodles. Dashimaki Tamago Free range Japanese egg omelette. Dessert: Hojicha Roasted Green Tea ice cream Yuzu Japanese Citrus Sorbet. The staff are so accommodating and excellent with their suggestions. The window seats are the best entertainment on offer in Fortitude Valley.

Really enjoyed our lunch at Birds Nest, Fortitude Valley. My Katsu Burger and spicy fries were delicious but my husbands chicken katsu curry was simply divine.
