Slim Chickens - Fort Worth

Stopped in around 8:15 on Saturday night, not knowing exactly what to expect, since it was my first visit. We ordered a 5 5 Meal, a Slim’s Meal, a Crispy Chicken Sandwich Meal, and a side of fried okra. The food was better than I expected, and the service was fast and friendly with a cool atmosphere. Now for the food, here’s the deal…the 5 5 is 5 wings and 5 tenders, the wings weren’t great, but the tenders were very good, along with crispy fries, tasty toast, and flavorful okra. Pass on the wings, but the tenders and fries are a definite winner and I can only assume most of the menu is as well. We’ll definitely visit again.

Don't waste your time. Small portions and low quality service. Too many other better places to eat!!!

My wife and I have driven past this location for the past 3 years joking about the name and tonight we decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken and waffles and she got the 3 tenders meal. We also added potato salad and cole slaw to our order. The chicken in waffles came disassembled, which I am guessing is per customer feedback. It did not look like the picture on the website and the butter and syrup were lacking. All in all it was a good combination once I put it all together. My wife liked her tenders but we found some fatty pieces. The side sauces were a little small but good. I was a fan of the potato salad and described it as cold potato soup. My wife really liked the cole slaw but I was not a fan. It was a pleasant dining experience, but not sure if we will be back.

The Food Was Delicious!! The Chicken Sandwiches Fries Mac Cheese Was Seasoned Hot.. I Will Return To Try The Chicken Wings..I Will Recommend Too My Family Friends.
