Hank's Haute Dogs - Fort Shafter

I ordered a Chicago Dog expecting something great. For $10 I got an Oscar Meyer sized hot dog, an old and stale sesame seed hot dog bun, a couple tomato slices, and other condiments. For $1.50 the Costco Hot Dog is way better. Consolidated theater in Mililani serves a Bahmi dog that absolutely blows Hanks away. I’m thinking maybe I should have tried a burger, but as slow as they are, that would probably be disappointing as well.

Ordered truffle cheese fries and opened the bag at home to find plain ole fries inside. Receipt on the bag even said “truffle cheese fries.” Not cool.

Wow! What an amazing spot! We enjoyed a walk all the way from Waikiki beach and it was well worth it. Plenty of options to pick from on the menu along with rotating daily specials. Shaded area to eat and with a nice breeze as well. Highly recommend getting out here to try these delicious dogs!

Such a great place. This is about to be my afterwork favorite spot to go to. The hot dogs are exquisite and the specials are all worth trying out.

Very friendly staff. Chicago dog was appreciated but not awesome. Reasonable prices--especially for a combo.
