Bidrage med feedbackWe live in the area and visited for the first time after hurricane Ian, actually looking for a pizza. They were not able to do a pizza for us, could be supply issues after the hurricane and understandable. My wife ordered a meatball sandwich and I ordered what the guy said was a sausage and peppers gyro, which sounded interesting to me. We also ordered the zucchini sticks. All 3 items were mediocre at best, but that was not irritated me the most. They had old menu pricing and what should have been just under $24.00 plus tax, ended up being $32.00 with tax. I asked about it and he said they were old menus before price changes and especially with what just happened, (hurricane) they needed to raise prices. I said your charging more because of the hurricane and then he back peddled a bit. If you change prices, post something that the customer can see. I am not sure if I will give them a second opportunity or not.
Sadly our experience was not a good one. Pizza was very thin and the crust was hard and crunchy with a flavorless marinara sauce. Mozzarella sticks where still cold in the middle but the Zucchini fries were surprisingly very good and why I gave it the two stars, but once again the Marinara for dipping was lacking flavor. I got the chicken Francese and it was just awful, chicken cutlets where soggy, and flavorless with a lot of parsley throughout. Garlic knot was decent.
There pizza and calzones are amazing. But they have problems with there open hours you never know when there open or closed and they never answer the phone so you can find out if there open or closed I drive all the way there cause there website say's there open and then when we get there their closed very upsetting cause their food is awesome just wish they would get there hours straight
We are here in the Fort Myers area from Long Island, NY to visit family.Been here for a few weeks and was in the mood for some good pizza. They say that it is difficult to find a well made NY style thin crust pizza here in Florida. I get it! We are NOT in New York. And shouldn 't expect to find Pizza like back home.Man, was I wrong! We looked on google for pizza near me and La Bella Pizza Pasta was 1st on the results.I red the second review from someone that said that it is not NY pizza, the crust is too thin and crispy! Now, anyone that knows NY pizza KNOWS that this is the absolute DEFINITION of NY PIZZA!!!Fuggeddebaadditt!!!They make a nice friggin pie!The best I 've had here in sunny Florida. Also, the Calzone was South Ozone Park Legit!Try them out you won 't regretit!(A very happy customer)
Their Sicilian thick pizza is the best I've had in Florida in 21 years. The dough is flaky and light with a great taste.Their white pizza is amazing. And their meatballs and subs are excellent. The owner and the workers are awesome as well. I can't wait to try their italian food. I'm from Youngstown Ohio where the italian food is all homemade and is awesome. So I'm really picky about my italian food. Try this place. You won't regret it!
