Harold Park hotel - Forest Lodge

This restaurant has an incredible atmosphere and outstanding service. I have never had a negative experience while attending their weekly events for over a year. I highly recommend this place for a casual dinner or for hosting an event in their function room.

The restaurant was very nice, but there were very few people there during lunchtime. It was a rainy day, so that may have been why. Unfortunately, they ran out of cider on tap, but they said they would refill it on the next round. When the time came, there was still no cider on tap. Despite that, we still plan on returning.

I have found my new favorite local restaurant! It has been recently renovated and has a fantastic new menu. I have visited twice recently and really enjoyed the food. They offer all my favorite pub meals as well as some more upscale options, along with plenty of delicious snacks that pair perfectly with a drink. My absolute favorite dish is the hoisin chicken lollipops - they are so addictive! I also love the crispy skin salmon with roasted beetroot, goats curd, and herb vinaigrette. One of the best parts is that their courtyard is pet-friendly! The upstairs area is also beautiful and elegant, making it ideal for functions and events. I attended their Wine Dinner event recently and it was absolutely stunning. The food quality was exceptional and the staff were professional and friendly. I will definitely be coming back again and again.

Renovation completed and opened today! Much improved and now a local we would be happy to visit more regularly. Nicely decorated and like the touches reminiscent of the history of the area. Ordered Rump Steak and the calamari. Both nice dishes. Pleased to see this pub reopen and back in use. Interested to see what (if any) events will be hosted here.

Love the internal courtyard that is dog friendly. This neighbourhood pub is great for low key weekday dinners or just when you don't feel like cooking.
