Bidrage med feedbackThis place might not look like much on the outside, but looks can be deceiving! I stumbled upon Asian Flavors when I was trying to find something quick to eat at the mall on my lunch break. I am a huge fan of Thai food and saw this place had Thai/Laotian fusion food. I decided to order their spicy long rice noodles with pork belly and now I literally get this every time I go here lol. It comes with clear long rice noodles in a spicy clear broth with generous pieces of pork belly and veggies. I ask to get it pretty spicy although it's already spicy. You know Thai/Laos do not mess around with their spices so this definitely has some heat to it. But I love it!! Price is pretty reasonable here too. They have a variety of other dishes that I have yet to try but they all look good. Highly recommend coming here when you're at Pearlridge!
TAMARIND with li hing drink and TRUFFLE POKE!!! If you're in search of something unique and tasty... this is the place to try!!! Gotta keep an open mind about venturing in extraordinary foods and flavors. If you're up to the challenge... do it!!!
Wow is all I can say!!!! I would rate them a 9.5 out of 10 just because of the pad Thai noodles it was very dry. Their mango sticky rice wow from the presentation to the taste it was a definite 10 out of 10. First time trying it and was not disappointed for sure. Papaya salad had it with medium spice level and it was perfectly made with the ingredients not too salty which is always good. First time trying the Lao sausage and it was also delicious not oily even their pork was perfect but wish it was a bit more tender. Highly recommended when your at pearlridge.
Issue 2 of a three part series. I know you read my Bo's Kitchen review because this is part two. A recap from the pervious episode, it's the restaurant that has to it's right Bo's Kitchen and to the left is HiFi Cafe. All confined to the same space as the old Taco Bell. Here at Asian Flavors, I only hot the Thai Loa Sausage. It's one sausage cut up into 6 pieces. Like how Chili's cuts a standard egg roll in half to make it look like two pieces. The illusion of more bang for the back. But this is worth the price because it was good. You get the heat in the end and the accompanying sauce add another layer of flavor. You can eat the sausage with or without the sauce. Overall three stars. I'm not gonna judge a restaurant on one appetizer with anything above a three. Stand by for my next review. Some Yelp channel, same corny jokes. Now excuse me, time to enjoy my duck noodle soup. Aww man it's still hot!!!! M
Came to pick up take out for dinner based on my fellow Yelper Eileen's enthusiastic urging and wonderful reviews. I wanted to try this place before they close on 12/24/2021. They are keeping their Ohana Market Place site, but this is such an easy to get to park location. Everything was really good, but beware because we ordered the cucumber salad with mild heat, but it was pretty darn spicy. I bit into a whole smashed Thai chili pepper that I thought was a smashed cherry tomato. I ate the side salads that no one wanted as well as a taste of some Panang curry and Pad Thai. I would imagine the meals would be even better if we ate it there while it was piping hot. Thanks Eileen for the recommendation!
