Ihop - Flower Mound

IHOP rarely fails, but sometimes it can improve. In the world of entertainment, my cup should never go half full. As often as employees forget that service is always rewarded (tips). Sometimes I want to ask the staff to put the amount of tips they deserve and see what they do. However, food is more and more than acceptable. Service 7 of 10 stars

Service was terrible I missed food and could not get drinks. The stand was so tight that you had to sit upright or rub your shirt on the dirty table. Food was what is expected, not bad, just instant mix food.

Slooooow service, phone constantly out of the hook. Let's at least know it's a waiting time. Now after waiting patiently for almost 30 minutes (and two more tables get their food coming after us) we informed the waitress that she had not yet ordered our tables. She snapped back and said I know I can trust me and then left. We waited a few minutes and decided to get up and go. I'm not back.

Although IHOP is not my first choice for pancakes, where the person I planned to dine pancakes with. Since the last time I have been with an IHOP, the comfort and cleanliness have declined significantly. While I was sitting, I noticed the temperature. It was really cold and think the temperatures now feel like mid 60’s-70’s outside. I can understand the cooler temperature for the kitchen team; not the customers. I also noticed while I was sitting there on hot tea that the floor was dirty and I also smelled old water or it could be a pipe problem. My guest and I looked similar, so we left. I don't give stars to this IHOP. I'm sorry I didn't think I was taking a picture of the ground.

We’ve given this location many opportunities but the truth is they just can’t get it together. Weekends, due to volume are worse. No greeting when you enter. Wait times are excessive. This morning we were crossed off the wait list without being called no apologies. Told 15 minutes wait finally seated an hour later. Food was decent for the price. Saving grace here is the wait staff who has no control over greeters or kitchen. They are friendly, courteous, apologetic when needed, and happy to serve you. Why do I go back? Hopeful they’ll improve? Supporting my community? Yes and yes but this time of year it’s for the pumpkin pancakes they are always good!
