Chaos pressed = stressed and rude personnel. Better and better alternatives nearby.

Here you can totally turn off: on the terrace there are some beach baskets. the back into the wind, then enjoy the sunbath!

Generally speaking I have a very bad experience in Austria relating to creditcard acceptance. I just can't believe how it can happen that in a country which lives on turism, so reluctant at many places to accept bank cards. I have been visiting Zauchensee for years now and I also visited Rauchkopfhutte many times. Two days ago I had a nice food and I payed with my bank card so yesterday I returned for a drink but the waitress told me that the owner ordered them NOT to accept cards. I talked to the owner as well who gave me a lecture that accepting cards is just too expensive for him so if I have cash I need to pay with it even they have a card terminal. We went to a discussion around this topic but finally he pushed the bill into my face and told me to pay with cash and left me alone. I believe this is not acceptable in the 21st centuty in a turistic place like Austria. Even the place is nice, the food is OK, I felt insulted and will refuse to return.

Very nice service.even if order went wrong the correction was super fast at the table and also quickly forget again
