Country Club Bakery - Fairmont

The paprika roll was good. their roles are probably older school to West Virginia. I'm not aware of this, but I had better peppermint rolls in other places in West Virginia... These roles were still good..

Struck gold! I have read an article about popular sandwiches from every state in the country. West Virginia's state sandwich is the pepper soup. Founded by an Italian immigrant coal miner who decided to put his pepperoni in his role before baking to make it easier to take it for his daily lunch. The idea started and before he knew it, he started a bakery in Fairmont, WV and was out of the mines. I ordered a dozen rolls. Monday freshened and delivered immediately. They arrived yesterday and made a delicious meal last night. I think we could have the same thing today. Served with roasted potatoes and peppers and some steamed green beans. This fantastic bakery is where the original peppermint roll was made first it is part of history the peppermint roll was the Coal Miner's lunch the Country Club bakery was heard by the extremely beautiful p a l o t a family for many years all here amazing tasty I again Gary Taylor I stopped to get some more delicious pepperoni rolls I recommend this country club bakery to each of the owners is a first class

Had paprika rolls to Boone, NC. It was still freshly tasted. This place is an absolute divine, it is so hard to find peppermint rolls outside of WV, so it is amazing that they ship. I will definitely order again in the future!

Pepperoni rolls always awesome. But man I miss the chocolate coconut cookies!
