Pho Thang Long - Fairfax

I have never eaten at the restaurant before, but I have always ordered takeout. I work in the area and noticed how close they were, and after reading some reviews, I decided to give them a try. I am so happy that I did! The broth, meat, and noodles were all very tasty. I also tried the Vermicelli Bowl with Pork and Egg rolls, and it was delicious. The staff who took my order were very friendly and checked me out quickly. My food was always ready as soon as I arrived to pick it up. I am looking forward to trying dining in next time.

I was starving and looking through menus posted outside of several restaurants in Pan Am Center. I was really craving a dish filled with tender vegetables. I always judge a restaurant by how their menu makes my mouth water. Two lovely young ladies entering one of the restaurants recommended it as their favorite pho spot, specifically recommending the shrimp pho. I decided to get the steak pho with extra noodles, along with an order of sha cha (crispy and delicious, but a bit too greasy - I'll try the shrimp rolls next time). The staff seemed to be hard-working owners.

I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 15 years and have always enjoyed their consistently good pho with generous portions. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing. On my last two visits, in July 2022, I was there with my friend and my son. My friend and I ordered large pho, but I received only 3/4 of what he got. After bringing it to the attention of the owner, an older lady, she corrected the portion size. However, when I went to pay, I noticed that the kid's size was charged at the regular price, which seemed excessive. Thank you.

The pho here is good, but a little inconsistent. The broth tends to taste different each time I come, and it?s never been bad but sometimes it?s just not as good as I?ve had it been before. The grilled lime chicken is delicious if you?re not in the mood for pho! The service is fast, the place is clean, and the prices are very fair.

This is one of those places that from the outside you wouldn't give it a second thought. But trust me, go in! The service is friendly and the Pho is amazing. It may not be the flashiest place you have ever been, but really, who cares. The food is great! Don't pass this place by, go in and enjoy!
