Vallata - Fairbanks

Looking for a beautiful place to take the woman to birthday. not much opportunity to go to the valletta, as I cannot see the menu and the times they are open are not released.

Wow, the food is just great. I came on a whim, not knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious wine. The food was delicious and was actually cooked very well. The steak is where they earn their five stars from me. It was cooked perfectly on the inside and on the outside; tasted exactly like what a steak should taste like. The seafood was cooked properly and they have a good wine selection. The staff was all pleasant and polite. And the drive is just beautiful.

Nice place, good service. Food is good. It’s out of the tourist area, which is nice 20 mins from downtown easy to drive. Same owner for 41 years.

I had the stuffed chicken which looked and was delicious and the potato croquette and the tiramisu cheese cake was very tasty as well. The prices were comparable with other Italian restaurants we have eaten at here in Fairbanks and the staff was friendly. Will definitely eat there again.

They advertise they are open until 930 so at 8 I drove 30 min to get some good food. When I arrived I was ignored by the first staff members and left standing at the counter. I ended up walking into the kitchen and asking if they were still open. They let me know they closed the kitchen already.... an hour early. Bummer
