Cookie Jar - Fairbanks

Great food. Big portions. Yummy baked goods. Friendly staff. May have to wait a bit since it’s so popular. Totally worth the wait.

Outstanding restaurant. Incredible proportions, flavors, choices, and espresso drinks. Went here two days in a row, I was so impressed!

The cookie jar was amazing! We were seated quickly and staff were very friendly. We throughly enjoyed our meals. Everything we had was delicious! The cinnamon rolls are AMAZING!

I just cannot understand where or how we went so wrong looking at all the ravishing reviews here on trip advisor! Am guessing being super busy and being a weekend may have had something to do with it, which really isnt an excuse but still... There was a long line and waiting but since we were just two of us, had to wait less. we ordered a burger and lasagne, which were just about average. Actually the lasagne was below average honestly. Have eaten some really good burgers and amazing lasagne, so dont know what the fuss here is all about. As I said maybe being so busy has a role, not sure. The waffles came with the strawberries on top, not on the side, which is why they were completely soggy and inedible. I surely think such a popular and busy restaurant would know not to put the strawberries on top! Didnt really eat the breakfast stuff, eggs etc so cant comment. Since I dont live in Fairbanks, cant go back, but maybe Iwould on a weekday when not so busy ..... Service was quite alright, no complains, and was little confusing to find as google takes you to where they used to be I think, which is very close, but its behind the car showrooms.

Great food. Great service. Great prices. The cinnamon rolls are incredible. I even bought some back home to SW WA with me. Highly recommend this warm and comfy restaurant.
