C&j Drive In - Fairbanks

My son and I went to have dinner and ended up leaving without eating. We walked in had a seat and waited 10 minutes before leaving. We were never waited on or even given menus. Two other people walked in had a seat 5 minutes after we had sat down. They were waited on right after they walked in and sat down. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Only 3 tables were being occupied while we were there. The waitress knew wee were sitting there bc she looked right at me. On top of that went to the ladies room and there was no door in the restroom! Very disappointed and we love to go to dinners! Will not be going back there again or recommending it to anyone! Horrible horrible experience! Don’t waste your time or money!!!!!

Great food. I think they can keep the prices down because they own the building. Can get a bit cold in the dining room. Only place in town that has butterscotch.

C J's drive in diner is a cozy place in the south side of one of the main commercial roads of downtown Fairbanks (South Cushman) close to car dealerships and other establishments. The location is very accessible and there is adequate parking. Locals recommend C J's for their wide variety of shakes and burgers. There are other fast food delicacies like cheese steaks, salads, chicken strips, hoagies, fish and chips etc. I chose the Bacon burger for $4.75 and strawberry malt for $5.00. This diner is kept clean and is family friendly. The waitresses are very pleasant and attentive. It is well lit and there is a Jukebox if you want music. Based on the reasonable prices, good taste of the food and good location, I would recommend this restaurant to those in Fairbanks, AK.

My fiancée and I ate at C+J's two days ago and once again LOVED IT! We bot ordered burgers and left feeling full And I definitely know my way around a knife and fork. Between the burgers and the fries in our baskets, I don't know which I liked more. The service is fast and the waitress was very friendly! We had lunch the other day but have eaten dinner there too. It's got a wonderful 50's atmosphere and is definitely family friendly! Try it! You'll like it too!

Delicious food. This was our first time visiting and our waitress was excellent, she assisted by making ordering sugggestions and was very attentative and friendly. Our waitress made the dining experience fun, she was hilarious, making us laugh everytime she came by our table, I think her name was Lily. The food was delicious, classic burgers, fries and milkshakes. Fair priced and obviously made fresh. A must visit.
