Bidrage med feedbackIn my 33 years living in Italy, I've never been served such wonderful beef. The costata is my choice of cut, as it has more flavor than fileto; but it's usually chewy. This was tender, cooked to perfection, and far too much for the two of us. We enjoyed the rest for dinner! We were seated in the dining room (we had reserved ahead), which is spacious and pretty. The front, bar area, has a completely different, casual atmosphere, crowded, and I don't believe we would have enjoyed the meal as much there. Service is a mite slow, but understandable when you see the effort put into the preparation and presentation of each dish. With a bottle of house Prosecco, 2 primi, the massive costata, 2 lovely desserts, coffee, and a generous tip, 100 euro was well spent. We will surely return!
Simple trattoria at the entrance area but elegant restaurant at the rear. Very tasteful decorated and table layout. Actually we only wanted a small dinner but ended up with steak and shrimps and a cheese platter. The recommended wine selection was excellent to the food and the hostess very attentive and knowledgeable.
I had a meal couple of times in this restaurant, great selection of wines, great steaks(fiorentina), appetizers delicious as well. Hostess is very kind, service excellent . Highly recommended.
It's my favorite bar in the carpenter! from breakfast to aperitif at dinner there is always a smile and a kindness for the customer. also the brioche on top and dinner. Try!
