Taste Of Bim a - Eureka

We ate here for the first time last night. We were not sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by what we ordered. The sautéed Veggies is NOT what you think it is more of a stew that is deliciously paired with rice and peas. I got it with the fried chicken and thought I would get something “easy” but instead it was perfectly cooked, very humid and was uniquely spiced. My husband got the curry chicken dish and ate almost the whole thing (he is not a huge eater). We had Curry Chicken many times before, but the flavors this was different. Both plates were very tasteful, as well as their award-winning grilled oysters we had for appetizers. Meals were big portions we took home today. And for non-alcoholic drinks, I had the hibiscus and my husband the Guava. They were both very good, although I added more water (I don't like my drinks too sweet and watered down, but this is a personal preference). Both of our servers were very friendly and timely, but one above all that was very descriptive with other dishes on the menu, where the oysters and fish came as they were cooked, portions (to share or individual). Unfortunately, we didn't catch her name, but she's the reason why we want to come back now to try everything they have at least once. She even drew characters on our togo box! We love to eat and try different foods, but if you think going somewhere for lunch or dinner and want something hearty with a lot of taste, this is the place to visit. Oh, don't forget her curtains. You think you know what you get until you take your first bite!

Bim's Taste Restaurant is the best dining establishment in Eureka, and possibly even in the Humboldt area. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. If you're in Eureka, you definitely shouldn't miss out on this fantastic culinary experience. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the restaurant itself is a great place to dine.

This restaurant serves delicious food! We tried the smoked cod and the curry goat, and both dishes were excellent. The smoked cod had a variety of flavors and a lovely sweet taste, especially when paired with potatoes. The curry goat is a must-try for goat lovers, although it was slightly less flavorful than the smoked cod. Overall, we enjoyed both dishes.

Delicious food with well-sized portions! We had waited a little, but they have outdoor seats, so it was nice to relax with a local cedar.

Held our rehearsal dinner here with all our out of town guests as well. People were shocked by how good the food was. They kept asking us “how did you find this place?” We were thrilled. Gaby was a wonderful host and my wife and I cannot wait to go back!
