Buddy's Diner - Eugene

Very friendly staff, quick service. Delicious food and coffee. Hands down the most tender chicken fried steak I have ever had.

It's a very nice small diner, wheelchair accessible dining space, though a little narrow. Food comes in huge portions so come hungry. Breakfast was very busy and it's a very friendly environment, so keep in mind staff are doing their best going from customer to customer. Got the Chantilly Lace French Toast, biscuits and gravy, and a hot cocoa. Some sides as well. The French toast was delicious and very sweet. Parking: About 20 or so parking spots behind and to the front of the building. Wheelchair accessibility: The seating was a bit tight but easily accommodated my wheelchair, easy to get in from the sidewalk, I didn't see if they had an accessible bathroom this visit.

Classic diner with modern updates sprinkled in. I had the daily special: chicken fried steak burrito with house made peppered country gravy, crisp bacon(4) side, and a peanut butter malted milkshake, all were excellent. The chicken fried steak pieces still had crunchiness inside the burrito, so a whole steak must hold up well to just having gravy on it. I definitely would eat there again, get to Buddy 's early, 'cause they close at 2pm.

Highly recommend the Cali Benny sandwich here, it was the best breakfast I’ve had (ever? and semi-healthy too. Our service was friendly and food came out extremely quick. The vintage decor inside was cool too.

Pretty good food. Had the country fried staek and enjoyed every bite. Im picky about my country fried steaks too
