I spent my 29th birthday here with the best Schwabischer Rostbraten with Eier Spatzle and sauerkraut! I felt like I was having dinner in authentic German...

So my expectations that I had in this restaurant were more than disappointed, although I was very satisfied and very expected. it is a restaurant with tradition, but unfortunately with bad eating and sorry, unfortunately incapable and hospitable staff. I can judge this very well myself, as I learned in gastronomy and worked for a long time in large well-known stuttgarter restaurants! so and now again at the beginning of the visit in this “restaurant”. within we were then observed by a woman who gave the tables after a few minutes after the guests before us after the reservation shaos also got a table. we waited about 5 minutes until we were assigned to a table. after the order I am approx. 2 minutes back to the waiter and asked him if I could reorder. he said that it would not be possible anymore because it is already in the kitchen. ok, there are also inflexible restaurants. after 2 minutes after ordering in a (almost full local food is not yet begun. but good, I still really enjoyed my medium-dolved swirl roast with acidic crimped and late cle. then came (after about 5 minutes! a cold eating with a hard and rather medium-sized roasted swirl roast. can happen. the waiter probably in the kitchen I can still reorder. but the chef has pointed out that it is not so, as I wanted to re-arrange anyway, and the waiter brought me that now the middle roasted piece of meat. the food was only lukewarm again. I told you! it was still thought about what I don't want to pay for the bad quality of eating. it was not offered to me, a price reduction or a reorder, except an apology! I asked about the restaurant manager. an unauthorized employee only has to follow instructions and the complaints/criticism that he could not have changed will not be imposed. I said he wasn't there, he was gone fast. I am then back to the lady who gave us the table and asked again for the restaurant manager or the relevant contact I added that I would like to complain. I was literally told to lapidar that nobody is there and that they have no time to complain! I thought I didn't hear it right. I felt very unpleasant and not welcome in this restaurant and would not recommend it to anyone!

Very nice, elevated beer garden in the middle of Esslingen. A side channel of the Neckar flows to one side. Great flair! We were also very happy with the food! Operation very nice and accommodating. A clear recommendation from me!

Really friendly condition. Very good Swabian cuisine. Nice view. Very clean toilet. No entrance for wheelchair users and difficult walking, because steep stairs. It's possible, but it should be a companion. Large screens outside will not get wet even in the rain.
