Tempura Japanese Grill - Ermita

I'm a bit disappointed because there really isn't anything special about the food, but it's a bit expensive. Their tempura, which I assume is their specialty, tasted more like flour.

One of those good Japanese restaurants for lunch. The maki dishes are tasty and good. Same goes for the rest of the dishes. I always love to dine here. ????

Myself and my work colleague have been longing for Japanese food, especially a ramen, since last week, possibly because of the cold weather last weekend. That's why we decided to eat on the Japanese tempura grill. When we arrived a waiter chatted to us immediately as there are few customers at that time. So we ordered a mixed maki and the ramen longed for it. We ordered seafood ramen but when our order arrived we were disappointed with the lack of seafood in the ramen. There are only shrimp and squid. The scallops and other ingredients are not present in our ramen but their menu states that there are scallops and other shells seafood one of their staff explained to us the other seafood is not available. Overall the food is great and the place is nice.

The food is good. The service is bad, the phone signal is also bad. I asked if we could sit on the couch that the waiter would not allow us as it is only the two of us and the seat is good for 4 people. I had to ask another waiter and he let us sit in our preferred seat. Big portions nothing spectacular about Japanese food.
